Image processing

GenClean performs visible Gemini mark cleanup in your browser. Image files are decoded, analyzed, repaired, previewed, and exported locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or review your image files as part of the cleanup workflow.

If you download a cleaned image or ZIP, that export is generated by your browser. You are responsible for storing, sharing, or deleting those local files.

Free usage metadata

To operate the free trial fairly, GenClean may call a serverless usage endpoint before processing. That endpoint can store a hashed IP/day usage key, date, usage count, timestamps, and limit status. The recommended production setup stores a one-way hash rather than the raw IP address.

This metadata is used for abuse prevention and free limit enforcement. It is not used to inspect your images.

Pro access metadata

If you buy GenClean Pro, we may store your purchase email, license key, plan type, entitlement status, payment provider customer ID, payment reference, and timestamps in Supabase. This lets you unlock Pro on a new browser by entering the same purchase email and license key.

Your browser may store your Pro email/license locally after activation so you do not need to enter them every time. You can clear that local browser data, but you will need the purchase email and license key to unlock Pro again.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar or another checkout provider. GenClean stores entitlement records needed to unlock Pro, but does not store full card details. Card handling, tax details, invoices, and payment security are handled by the payment provider.

Support requests

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your purchase email, license key, browser name, and a description of the issue. Do not send private, sensitive, or third-party image files unless support specifically asks for a small sample and you have permission to share it.

AI provenance and allowed use

GenClean is for visible presentation cleanup of Gemini generated images you own or have permission to edit. It is not designed to remove invisible provenance signals such as SynthID, bypass AI detection, hide required disclosures, or remove marks from third-party copyrighted or rights-managed assets.

Retention

Free usage counters may be retained for operational abuse prevention. Pro entitlement records are retained while the license is active and as needed for payment, tax, refund, and support records. Support emails are retained as long as reasonably needed to resolve issues and maintain business records.
