Your images never reach us.

Your files

Images and PDFs you open in GenClean tools are processed entirely on your device, in your browser tab's memory. They are not uploaded, cached, logged, scanned, or retained by us in any form. When you close the tab, they're gone from memory. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's network tab while using a tool - no file data leaves your machine.

What we do collect

• Anonymous usage analytics. Page views, aggregate tool usage (for example, "the compressor was used N times today"), and anonymous error reports (the technical error message and the page it happened on) to understand what to improve and fix. This never includes file contents, file names, identifiers, or anything derived from your images, and we honor your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
• Local storage in your browser. Your Pro unlock status and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. We use it to keep Pro active between visits.
• Purchase records. If you buy GenClean Pro, our payment provider processes the transaction and we keep the purchase email and license record needed to restore your unlock and honor refunds. We never see or store full card numbers.

Advertising

The free version of GenClean is supported by ads (Google AdSense or a similar network). Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, subject to their own policies and your consent choices where required by law. GenClean Pro removes ads entirely. Ads never have access to the files you process - those stay in your browser's memory, outside any ad script's reach.

Third parties

• Hosting: the site is served by Netlify, which processes standard web server logs (IP, user agent) to deliver pages.
• Payments: Pro purchases are processed by our payment provider; their privacy policy applies to the checkout.
• Advertising: as described above, on free pages only.

Your rights

Since we don't hold your files, most data-rights requests concern purchase records or analytics. Email support@genclean.site to access or delete data associated with your purchase email. EU/UK visitors: our lawful basis for the processing above is legitimate interest (running the service) and contract (Pro purchases); consent governs non-essential cookies where applicable.

Changes
