How it works

Image to PDF in 4 steps

  1. Drop an image onto the tool or click Choose File.

  2. The PDF is built instantly - the preview shows exactly what the page will look like.

  3. Pick the page (A4, US Letter, or fitted to the image), the orientation (portrait by default), and a margin if you like.

  4. Download the finished PDF.

When to use it

Forms, applications, and document portals love asking for PDFs of things you have as images - receipts, IDs, signatures, scans. This tool builds the PDF on your device: the page is sized exactly to your image, and the file never touches a server, which matters given what people usually convert.

  • Submit receipt or ID photos to portals that only accept PDF.
  • Convert a signed-form photo into a PDF for email.
  • Turn scanned pages saved as images back into document form.

Format & quality notes

  • A4 portrait is the default - the traditional document page, image centered. Switch orientation to landscape or 'match image', or choose 'fit to image' for a page exactly the image's size.
  • Images are embedded as high-quality JPEG inside the PDF; transparency is flattened to white.
  • Batch (Pro) converts each image to its own PDF, delivered in one ZIP; multi-image combined PDFs are on the roadmap.
FAQ

Questions about the Image to PDF Converter.

Is my document uploaded to convert it?

No - and that's the point for IDs, receipts, and signed forms. The PDF file is assembled byte-by-byte in your browser.

What page size does the PDF use?

A4 portrait by default - the traditional document page. US Letter, landscape orientation, 'match image' orientation, and 'fit to image' pages are one dropdown away; nothing is ever cropped.

Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?

Not yet - today each image becomes its own PDF (batch delivers them as a ZIP with Pro). A combined multi-page mode is planned.

Does it work with transparent PNGs?

Yes - transparency is flattened onto a white page, which is what PDF viewers expect.
